Our family of six had the most magical week here. The kids didn't want to leave the creek and bunk room! Already booked our return trip for fall foliage season.
Came for our anniversary and it exceeded every expectation. Watching the snow fall from the wraparound deck with hot cocoa was pure magic. Zachary's restaurant recommendations were spot on.
Third year in a row! The elk were incredible this fall — we saw a bull bugling from just 100 yards away in Cataloochee. The cabin felt like coming home.
The fall colors were absolutely breathtaking. We hiked Waterrock Knob at sunrise (Zachary's top recommendation) and it was the highlight of our entire year.
Brought the grandparents and all the grandkids — 10 of us total. Everyone had their own space and the playground kept the little ones busy for hours.
We've stayed in dozens of mountain cabins and this is hands-down the best. The creek, the fire pit island, the views — it's in a league of its own.
